#1722: How many monitors do you all have?

I am a CS student who has been using a 13 inch macbook pro as my main work station. My friends keep telling me to get a monitor because it will greatly improve my productivity. I am wondering whether it is true because I am quite satisfied with my laptop alone and like do everyone else uses monitors??
