#1792: Should I switch to a macbook as a CS student?

I am currently using a windows laptop and have been trying to survive on windows subsystem for linux for my cs coursework. I thought of installing linux but it just feels so troublesome and not a lot of software is compatible with linux as well. And windows kinda sucks for programming. Is it worth it for me to switch over to a mac? I feel like im jumping through a lot of hoops using windows for CS
