Anyone regretted studying Mechanical Engineering? Is Mechanical Engineering after all just a dumping ground for people who simply wants to study uni for the sake of it? Really can't seem to find any decent paying jobs (less government) in Singapore. (Jobs that offer at least 200K per month even after 5 year's experience). It doesn't help that the pathway in getting a PE license is kinda limited in Singapore. Wonder what's the percentage of students per intake who actually want to study Mechanical Engineering and go be an engineer as a career.
