Why do people still follow their ex on social media, especially when they’re both already attached to someone else? If they just broke up, then it’s understandable that maybe they still want to see how each other is doing. But if they already have their respective partners, why do they not cut off completely with the ex? What’s the point of looking at the ex’s stories and what not? My bf does this and even occasionally shares with me what his ex and her friends are doing and i find it so weird that he’s telling me these. There were also times when he opens up his insta and his ex’s insta story icon is the first to show up on his screen. I asked him before why he still follows her and he merely said “just follow lor, also no interaction”, to which i asked if looking at each other’s life updates is considered interaction and he said no lol. For context they broke up several years ago and he met me two years after the break up. Am i too sensitive or is this smth to be worried about?
