To the post asking about taking NUS engineering master degree #109018, please don't bother lah. NUS wants to charge so much for a masters that is similar to foreign top unis, but you seriously think NUS ranks anywhere near like them? Engineering master degree in Singapore does not give you any significant benefit over a bachelors. We are not known as a core engineering hub or have any good engineering companies that can appreciate a master degree unless you work overseas. Ever since MOE terminated subsidies for Masters coursework, masters degrees here are simply not worth it anymore even if NUS gives a slightly better discount. Any Singaporean who is taking a local engineering master now is stupidly throwing money down the drain. The only one with good ROI is a tech related course. You want master degree just go overseas.
